Booking Policy – General Information

A booking policy is a statement that outlines some or all of the ways a service provider schedules, manages, cancels, and reschedules appointments with its customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the company’s commitment to providing reliable service, and an explanation about the different mechanisms it uses to ensure fairness and efficiency in scheduling.

Different businesses may have different booking requirements, and in some cases, different jurisdictions may impose specific obligations regarding scheduling, cancellations, or service terms. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding how these policies apply to your activities, location, and individual needs.

Generally speaking, a booking policy often addresses these types of issues:

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: The amount of notice required for changes to an appointment (for our services, we kindly ask for at least 8 hours’ notice).

  • Arrival Windows: The time frames in which crews may arrive and how customers will be notified prior to service.

  • Access & Preparation: Expectations regarding safe access to the service area and readiness of items for removal.

  • Weather & Safety: Conditions under which services may need to be delayed, adjusted, or rescheduled.

  • Fees & Payment: Potential cancellation fees, confirmation of pricing before work begins, and when payment is due.
